We met while working together at Costco Wholesale. You know, the place that has the $1.50 hot dog meals and some of the best values you can find in bulk. I was working as a cashier assistant and would often be assigned to help Darby as he was working as a cashier. We would talk during our shifts while working side by side together and got to know each other quite well. We became close friends that kept in touch even after I left at Costco. Neither of us still work at Costco but go there almost weekly.

Eventually Darby and I were dating and decided we wanted to get married. We were excited to be married but also wanted to include our family and friends as our wedding in 2023 was small and private. We were married by Darby's sister, Cherish Hinton, on April 8th 2023. Our plans always included having a large ceremony and reception in 2024. As I (Stephanie writing this) am often quite forgetful, I wanted an anniversary date that was easy to remember. What better day to have this event, than on Cinco de Mayo? 5/5! It will be easy to remember and is a great day for a fiesta! We are honored to have you all as guests and cannot wait to celebrate this occasion. To all of our family and friends, thank you for loving and supporting us. We hope you can make our event on Sunday, May 5th 2024 in Bloomington, Indiana.
