Question

How do I RSVP? When Should I RSVP by?

Answer

To RSVP, click RSVP tab and type the name(s) listed on your envelope. If you were given a plus one, please enter your guests name. An RSVP is required for everyone. Kindly RSVP before August 11, 2023. If you do not RSVP by August 11th, we will assume you are a "no” as we will be giving our vendors our final head-counts after this deadline. We are excited to see everyone!

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate your regrets as soon as possible on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

When do I need to be at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be starting promptly at 5:00pm. We recommend guest arrive between 4:30-4:45 to park, mingle and find a seat. If you happen to be late, please be patient as the bridal party goes down the isle. Once they are down, please quickly find a seat.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on the wedding invitations. If you receive a plus one, it will be listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of select children. If your children are not listed on your invitation, please find a sitter, bring your dancing shoes, and enjoy a date night on us!

Can I take photos and videos at the wedding?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony." Please place phones on silent at the ceremony. We have professional photographers and videographers to capture all the special moments and are excited to share their photos with you! After the ceremony, please feel free to take all the pictures and videos you want!

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a room block at two hotels! They are a 2 minute walk to the reception! The Hampton Inn and Suites Downtown Omaha and Homewood Suites Downtown Omaha! Please be sure to reference the Johnston/Herdrich wedding for a discounted rate!

Dress Code

Answer

We would love to see our family & friends dress up for our big day! This is a Semi-formal event, no jeans please! Think garden party! Please be prepared for the weather to be 72 to 92 degrees during the outdoor ceremony.

Where is parking at the venues?

Answer

Parking at the ceremony is right outside of The grotto and pavilion. Parking for the reception is located behind the building and is complementary.

How does seating work?

Answer

The ceremony will be open seating so please sit wherever you’d like! The first few rows will be reserved for family. For the reception, look for the seating chart to find your table!

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is outdoors and the reception is indoors.

If you are planning on drinking, please have a designated driver in place! Uber and Lyft are also available in our area!

What if I have a dietary restriction?

We have Gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options available. We ask that you please list this when you RSVP.

Is there a cash bar?

Answer

All alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are on us this night!
