Sheela
Maid of Honor
Sheela is Stephanie’s older sister. Only a year apart, their mother would dress them up and pass them off as twins when they were younger. She was the easy choice as Maid of Honor not only because of their shared parentage but because she has always been there from the beginning. She even helped document the moment Dan proposed. She also has a cute fur baby, Bruno, who is Jerry’s best friend.
Tom
Best Man
Besides their shared parental lineage, Tom and Dan share a close bond regardless of proximity as both have crisscrossed the country over the years. A standout football player for St. Francis High School in Southern California, Tom continued his football career at Davidson College in Charlotte, NC. Tom made his way to Notre Dame Law School and received his JD as a member of the class of 2021. As luck would have it, Tom got a job as an attorney in Dan's adopted city, Chicago. The two brothers are now able to stick together as they are peppered with the constant question of why on earth they would relocate from Los Angeles to the Midwest.
Kara

Kara met Stephanie at work and their relationship built over several years as coworkers to when they eventually started regularly hitting Chicago’s hot spots. You would think she grew up in Chicago because of all the connections she has made. She’s originally from Missouri, but also lived in the US Virgin Islands where she met Scott Scheper. If it weren’t for this social butterfly keeping in touch with Scott, Steph and Dan would have never met.
Louisa
Bridesmaid
Louisa and Stephanie met through work and became fast friends due to their shared interests travel, Pilates and (lots of) shopping. They’re always having fun when they’re together whether it’s hiking on mountaintops or finding new brunch outfits at their favorite store Zara. Louisa has witnessed Steph and Dans relationship blossom tagging along on their dates. She has a beautiful soul and always down to party!
Ewelina
Bridesmaid
Ewelina met Stephanie at work orientation and coincidentally was her next door neighbor. They became instant friends from walking to work together, taking yoga classes, and obsessing over dogs (especially poodles). Her boyfriend Alex will be around taking videos of everyone so be sure to smile for the camera!
Tanya (aka Tatiana)
Bridesmaid
Tatiana and Stephanie go back to 6th grade when they met at Camp Hastings. They both wore braces then and have kept in touch until this day. One of their most recent trips was to Austin, Texas where they got to explore their love for travel and food (lots of BBQ). She used to lived in Spain during college and speaks fluent Spanish. She is also speaks fluent in puns.
Amada (aka Ada)
Bridesmaid
Amada is Stephanie's cousin. She is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. Everyone would always mistake Amada for Sheela and Stephanie’s older sister because of how close they are. She can always be counted on to organize birthdays, dinners and doggy play dates.
Aileen
Bridesmaid
Aileen is Stephanie's cousin. She would always include Stephanie to tag along with her group of friends and showed her what city life was all about. There is never a dull moment with her as she’s always has a funny story to tell and you can find her always laughing.
Andy
Groomsman
Andy and Dan both grew up in the Pasadena area but their friendship truly blossomed when they made their way to college at Notre Dame. They became fast friends through their participation on the rugby team. Andy carved out an All-American rugby career, with Dan doing his best not to mess things up by doing *exactly* what Andy told him to do for most of the game. Andy subsequently earned a master’s degree from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland and now lives in Newport Beach, CA.
Peter
Groomsman
Pete and Dan go back to the sandbox days as they were born a month apart. They spent their early childhood going back and forth between Pasadena and the San Fernando Valley, tagging along with their dads on golf outings, often confused as brothers. Peter was always the much cooler "brother"... He played the drums in a rock band growing up and still drums to this day. While only a month older, Peter has been an older brother to Dan from the sandbox through today.
Scott
Groomsman
Scott is the older brother Dan never had growing up. A native of Orange County, Scott has seen much of the world over the last several years, spending time in the OC and the US Virgin Islands before relocating to San Diego, where he spends most of his time tending to his cats, Broadus and Princess Fiona, and his pig, Garth. Despite the varying distances, Scott and Dan have remained close to this day. Scott played a direct role in making this special occasion happen as it was during his August 2019 visit to Chicago that Stephanie and Dan had their fateful first meeting.
Spencer
Groomsman
Spencer is Stephanie’s younger brother by 6 years. While they haven’t known each other very long, Dan quickly realized how responsible and reliable Spencer is. He’s always up for doggy baby-sitting and is the go-to for any and all tech-related questions. Please be sure to wish Spencer a happy birthday when you see him over the weekend as it’s on April 15!
Austin
Groomsman
Austin and Dan go back to their freshman year at St. Francis High School, playing quarterback and offensive line respectively. Behind Dan’s (occasional) blocking, Austin developed scrambling abilities only rivaled by Russell Wilson. Austin played football at UC Davis. Austin moved on from Davis to Sacramento, working in the California state assembly before moving onto Uber as their public relations chief. He spends most of his time with his wife, Taylor, and their two fur babies, Madison and Clinton.
Rory
Groomsman
Rory and Dan also met through Notre Dame rugby and became fast friends over their shared interests in off-field shenanigans and Braveheart. A native of Belfast, Ireland, Rory moved to the states to attend Notre Dame and hasn’t left since. He works in the general counsel’s office at Dan’s accounting firm and has played an integral role in keeping Dan employed all these years. If you run into him during the wedding festivities he’s sure to regale you with a story… or three.
Mercedita Liongson
Flower Lady
Mercedita aka Mama Didi is Stephanie’s eldest aunt on her father's side. She was a great choice because of her young and vibrant personality. She will always have her cellphone ready to capture photos with loved ones any chance she gets. She even takes pictures of food. The first time she met Dan she treated him like he was already part of the family.
