It all began freshman year of high school when Stephanie crossed paths with Chaston, a boy who played on the baseball team alongside her brother, Josh. Before the two even officially met, Josh had given Chaston the green light to date his sister. Chaston, however, replied with a chuckle, "Dude, I don’t even know your sister." But it wasn’t long before he became very familiar with her. As time went on, their friendship blossomed; they would walk to class together, text on a regular basis and hang out whenever they could. There was an undeniable connection from the beginning! Even though they never dated during high school, their bond remained strong as the years passed. Chaston moved to North Carolina to pursue college baseball, while Stephanie stayed in Florida to earn her degree at USF. Though they saw each other during school breaks, those moments became increasingly rare. They would occasionally check in, but out of respect for the other relationships they were navigating, they kept their true feelings at bay. Fast forward to 2019, after Chaston had graduated college, Stephanie received a simple text from him: “Hey.” (Classic Chaston 😂) That moment marked the turning point of their story. They realized it was finally time to embrace what had been brewing for a decade. Now, we’ve settled in the beautiful state of Georgia, building an amazing life together in a home we cherish with the goodest boy (Cash)! We wouldn’t change it for the world. We are beyond excited to celebrate this long-awaited day with all of our closest family and friends!
