FAQs

Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will take place on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Cigarral de Las Mercedes in Toledo, Spain. Additional events will take place on: Wednesday, October 14 – Welcome Party Friday, October 16 - Brunch

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

We recommend flying into Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD). From there, Toledo is just a 30-minute high-speed train ride or a 1-hour car ride away. We’ll be sharing more details soon about the best ways to get from Madrid to the wedding venue — including any group travel options and recommendations.

Question

When should I arrive in Spain?

Answer

We recommend arriving by Tuesday, October 13, to allow time to adjust and join us for the welcome party on Wednesday evening.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation — if a guest is included, they will be listed by name. Due to limited space, we are keeping our celebration intimate and appreciate your understanding.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we’d love for your little ones to enjoy a trip to Spain with you, we kindly ask that children do not attend the wedding festivities, including the welcome party, ceremony, and reception. We want all of our guests to be able to relax and celebrate with us, so we’re keeping the events adults only. That said, children are welcome to stay at the hotel, and we’re happy to share that the venue offers childcare services during the wedding events for those who need it. More details on how to arrange this will be provided closer to the date. Please note that all childcare costs will be the responsibility of the parents. We truly appreciate your understanding and support!

Question

Do I need a passport or visa?

Answer

Yes — U.S. travelers need a valid passport (make sure it’s not expiring within 6 months of your travel dates). You may also need to apply for ETIAS (a new travel authorization for the EU) — we’ll update you if this becomes active by 2026.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

A room block at the wedding venue is being arranged for our guests’ convenience. Additional details and booking instructions will be shared soon. Guests who choose alternative accommodations will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the venue. We look forward to celebrating with you soon!

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

🇪🇸 Welcome Dinner – Una Noche en España Kick off the wedding weekend with a Spanish-inspired evening filled with delicious food, drinks, and great company. We invite everyone to wear **elevated all-black attire** for a chic and cohesive look. Think of what you would wear to a beautiful dinner at a stylish restaurant—linen sets, tailored trousers, jumpsuits, midi skirts, or elevated separates. This event is polished but not formal, so save your gowns and tuxedos for the wedding day. 🤍 Wedding Day Our wedding ceremony and reception are **formal attire**. We encourage guests to dress for an elegant evening celebration. Floor-length gowns, sophisticated cocktail dresses, tuxedos, or dark suits with ties are all wonderful choices. We can't wait to celebrate this special day with you! ☀️ Farewell Brunch Join us the morning after the wedding for a relaxed brunch before we say our goodbyes. **Casual attire** is perfect—think sundresses, shorts, linen, sandals, or other comfortable resort-style clothing. Come as you are, grab a coffee, and enjoy one last meal with us before heading home.
