FAQs

If you have any other questions that we haven't covered please don't hesistate to ask Steph or Benny and we'll do our best to answer them!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate this special day with everyone! Please RSVP by January 2026 so we can plan the best celebration and dance the night away.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We hope you'll understand that, while we love all your kids, we've chosen to keep our wedding mostly adults-only. The only children attending will be our nephews and those in the wedding party.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the castle?

Answer

We have provided the phone number of local taxis in the travel and accommodation section.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

As we celebrate our special day during the spring/summer season, we're dreaming of blue skies and sunshine, so wear your best seasonal outfits and let's manifest the perfect day together! As the wedding is set in a countryside castle, we’d love for our guests to join us in soft pastel tones to complement the castle’s romantic setting. Think elegant garden party meets cocktail chic - floaty dresses and soft hues to match the season. It can get a little chilly in the evening (It is Ireland, after all), so please bring something warm to pop on, just in case. We can't wait to see you all looking your best and dance the night away in celebration!

Question

Is there accomodation in Cloughan Castle?

Answer

Cloughan Castle has seven rooms, which are reserved for the wedding party. There are lovely hotels nearby in Loughrea and Gort, which are both roughly 12 minutes away from the castle. There are also a couple of nice accommodations in Athenry, which is roughly a 26-minute drive to Cloughan Castle. We've added a few accommodations nearby that were recommended and have good reviews. Please see the travel and accommodation page to see the recommendations.
