Our I-5 exit No. 724 is about an hour North. There are seven on-airport auto rental companies: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz and National. While there are plenty of options, if you are wanting to be closest to the venue then I would suggest trying to book a place to stay in the city of Dunsmuir first. There are also plenty of options if you choose to go through AIRBNB or VRBO. There are plenty of campsites, and places to hook up a 5th wheel trailer or motor home as well.
