We met at work and instantly became friends. About a month later I bought my house on Mt. Washington which happened to be two streets away from Austin’s house. This led to many after work meet ups at Bigham Tavern, which soon became our go to spot. Seven months later I found a new job, but Austin and I continued to stay in touch. It wasn’t until Austin’s birthday party when we started to see each other in a different light. That following week Austin invited me out to watch the Pitt Panthers football game and we have been inseparable since!

As seen in the beautiful pictures on this page, Austin planned a wonderful proposal. We took a trip down to Asheville, North Carolina where Austin proposed in front of the Biltmore Estate. It was a picture perfect day, which Austin then had a one hour surprise engagement photo session planned. Although I may have had an idea the proposal was happening, it could not have been a more perfect day!
