Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine
A historical American coastal pentagonal bastion fort located in the Locust Point neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland. It is best known for its role in the War of 1812, when it successfully defended Baltimore Harbor from an attack by the British navy from the Chesapeake Bay on September 13–14, 1814.
Cross Street Market
This newly-renovated market is a cool place to visit during the day. At night, the surrounding area is full of fun late-night bars for you to visit.
Harbor East
It a quick 5 minute drive from the hotel, The Royal Sonesta. It's an upscale neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants. Some of our favorite restaurants/bars include: Loch Bar, Tagliata, Vida Taco Bar, and the Bygone.
Fells Point
A great waterside neighborhood with historical charm. Enjoy strolling the cobblestone streets, shops, restaurants, and live music at almost every bar. Favorite spots include: Broadway Market, Admiral's Cup, Nanami, Thames Street Oyster House, Waterfront Hotel, The Pendry Bar, and The Horse You Came In On.
Sagamore Spirit Distillery
Visit the waterfront distillery which is a short drive from the Inner Harbor in Port Covington. Take a tour (lasts about an hour) and learn about the history of Rye Whiskey in Maryland.
Monument City Brewing Company
If you want to visit, Finnley's favorite brewery, take a trip to Monument City Brewing Company! It is a Baltimore, Maryland based craft brewery focused on high quality, handcrafted ales.
Thames Street Oyster House
One of our favorite restaurants in the city! It is a great spot for lunch/dinner and tasting some oysters. Make reservations, to avoid waiting for a table.
