Island Provisions - Downtown Charleston
If you're a coffee person, this is one of the best spots downtown! They also have a location out on John's island (near Stephanie's parents if you're making a visit to them).

If you're staying up by our house, in the summerville/ladson area, this is a great coffee place with a brewery right next store!!
Millers All Day
This is an amazing breakfast/brunch option downtown - with an extensive mimosa list!
Stella's
This is one of our favorite date night spots downtown! We love the Kotopoulo (basically a spatchcock chicken). We would recommend making a reservation if you wanted to check it out :)
Saltwater Cowboys
This is the best option for dinner with a view! You can sit right on the water - where sometimes dolphins make an appearance :) Their nachos are INSANE!
Lewis Barbecue Charleston
This is BY FAR our favorite BBQ restaurant in Charleston!! Highly recommend the ribs, brisket, and potato salad.
Home Team BBQ
This is also a popular BBQ place in Charleston, more commonly known for the "game changer" - a drink for our adult friends! They also have multiple locations: downtown, west ashley, and on Sullivan's island (this would be a good location if you're looking to visit the beach too).
The Battery
If you're looking to sight see and shop, we would recommend walking downtown around the battery, as well as checking out South and North market street!
Brewery Tour
This free trolley runs from 2-9 every Saturday. The trolley stops at 10 different breweries in the Charleston area, beginning at Tradesman Brewing Company at the top of the hour.

Being one of the oldest port cities in the South Charleston has a extensive, rich and albeit bloody history. If it's up your ally, this horse-drawn carriage tour takes you through historic old Charleston and all of its numerous "haunts"!
