Maid of Honor
Stephanie: Oh, Amy... my longest and most loyal friend. We haven't been able to stop laughing with each other since we met in middle school. We've comforted each other during the hardest times, and celebrated each other's greatest achievements. I'm not sure what I would have done without you through all these years. I'm looking forward to hanging out in rocking chairs at the nursing home when we're 90. Thanks for being a BFFL 🤣
Bridesmaid
Ashley: Ali is one of my favorite people. She is cheerful, funny, the best momma to Isla, Coen & Charlie and wife to Drew, always has great advice and even better drink recommendations. I've looked up to her since I met her and know Stephanie and I have amazing mentors for what a "perfect" marriage looks like. I can't imagine my big day without her on my side.
Bridesmaid
Stephanie: How in the hell do you go from awkward dancing at a dive bar to besties in 2 days?! Other than the alcohol, I'd probably say it's because we were meant to be friends from the start. I'm so glad you're able to be part of our big day!
Bridesman
Ashley: Andrew, Drewske, Drew...this guy has evolved since 6th grade & even further since our Sunday School days. I have never seen him in a bad mood or without a smile/laugh to offer someone. He always has a joke, a song to share or a new beer that will blow my mind depending on my tastebuds. Most of our texts are about a new beer that you just have to try and I definitely can't wait to share some beers together on such a special day and rock out to a crazy song on the dance floor. He is also a (fair weather) Vikings fan, so make sure to tell him, "Go Pack Go!"
Bridesmaid
Stephanie: I feel lucky to have a friend like Kayla who is always there for me through the twists and turns of adulthood. Adulting can be hard, but it's so much easier with a good friend by your side!
Bridesmaid
Ashley: Most of my favorite childhood memories include Melissa (and her sister, Jessica). At almost a year older, I got a lot of her hand-me-downs, even when I took them out of her closet for years & she was consistently my excuse of, "well, Melissa gets to do that..." There is no one else I would rather have slept on their floor growing up on a lot of weekends, drank too much on Halloween with, let laugh when I fell in a window well, sing horribly with in the back of an Uber or have stand by my side on my big day. Thank you for being a consistent role model whether it came to jumping off the diving board, trying to grab the toothpick at a pool party or proving you can give me a piggy back ride after a few beers.
Bridesman
Stephanie: From the moment I came out of the womb, I knew you'd be my brother. But, a good one. We ended up being so similar that it's a little weird. Give us the same haircut and clothes and no one would know the difference. But seriously, I'm glad for you to stand up for me and give funny commentary throughout the whole thing, because what's a wedding without some well-timed humor? I got pretty lucky in the sibling department.
Bridesmaid
Ashley: Elsa was my first actual friend in Madison. Our days have progressed from margaritas and walks around Target to now hanging out with her adorable son, John. She has been there at my lowest and my happiest and has never left my side, except when she moved to Milwaukee for a brief stint. Thankfully, she moved back because she missed me too much (& her husband got a Fellowship at UW). She beats my sarcasm, which is hard to do and probably why we get along so well. I can't imagine my day without her!
Officiant
Personal Attendant
We can't imagine Andrea aka Andi not being a part of our day or by our side, literally. She has shown Ashley on our annual trips that she is timely (reading and coffee right away in the morning by the pool), is protective (she saves us from crazy guys at bars) & always supportive. Andi has always made a point to ask about my life and Stephanie outside of just our jobs. She has shown us both what it looks like to have a successful marriage/family life, job & still has time to answer when we randomly FaceTime her because we miss her. We can't wait for our big day and to share an IPA or red wine with you!
