How do I RSVP?

Please RSVP for the ceremony online via our RSVP section - additional details for the reception will be provided once we receive your confirmation. Please provide a form of contact (email and/or phone) upon confirming your RSVP.

When do I have to RSVP by?
Answer
Please RSVP by March 4, 2024. If you have any questions or trouble with the RSVP process, please contact Anil or Stephanie. If you plan to stay at the Gaylord Palms, Hotel reservations must be made by February 19, 2024.

Are room blocks available?
Answer
Yes. Room blocks are available Thursday (3/21/2024) and Friday (3/22/2024). The direct link to book online with our room block can be found in the Travel section of our wedding website. Additional details can also be found there.

By when do I have to reserve my room at the Gaylord Palms?
Answer
If you plan to book and stay at the Gaylord Palms, please make your room reservations with the Gaylord Palms no later than February 19, 2024. After this date, we cannot guarantee the availability of rooms at the hotel. The direct link to our room block information is available in the Travel section of our website.

The Gaylord Palms Resort fee is $38.00 per night not including taxes.

How much is the parking rate for staying at the hotel?

Self-parking rates are $35 per night.

How much is parking for the day of the event?
Answer
Self-parking is complementary for the day of the event. Valet is available for $35. Overnight guest parking subject to daily rate.

What is the start time of the wedding ceremony?
Answer
The start time of the wedding ceremony is 10:45 A.M. Guests who do not wish to participate in the Baraat are asked to be seated in Emerald Bay (location of wedding ceremony) at 10:30 A.M.

What is the start time of the Baraat?
Answer
The Baraat (Groom's entrance) starts at 10:15 A.M. Guests should arrive at the transportation bay of the Gaylord Palms by 10:00 A.M. if they wish to participate in the Baraat.

Is this an Indoor or Outdoor event?
Answer
This is an indoor event with the exception of the Baraat which will start outside.

What is the dress code for the wedding ceremony and reception?
Answer
Attire will be formal - preference is black-tie optional or festive for attire. This is a South-Asian event, lehengas, sarees, kurtas, etc. will be considered as acceptable formal festive attire. Casual wear such as pajamas, beachwear, t-shirts, ripped jeans, flannel, sneakers, Crocs, etc. will not be permitted.

Are there any colors I cannot wear?
Answer
Please avoid the bridal colors of red, white, and yellow for this both ceremony and reception. Thank you for your understanding!

Can I wear Indian dresses/clothes as a guest?
Answer
Yes! You are welcome to join and learn more about the Hindu culture - it's encouraged but it is not required. For women, I recommend either a Lehenga Choli or a Saree. For men, I recommend Kurtas. There may be many local Indian wear stores in your area which is ideal as they can help measure and select an outfit. If not, there are websites such as Amazon, Pernia's Pop-up Shop, Kalki Fashion, and more to shop online. However, please be aware you can get items unstitched which is not recommended unless you have a personal tailor in your back pocket.

We are very sorry, but due to restrictions at our venue, we cannot accommodate children under the age of 16.

Masks are not required for any of the event.

Are there any safety or security concerns regarding this event?

The Gaylord Palms Hotel and Resort tries their best to accommodate the safety of their guests. In addition, private security will be present during the event.

Gaylord Palms partners with Mears Transportation, a company providing Orlando transport service for over 60 years, to ensure you have a top-notch experience. A member of Mears Transportation can bring you from Orlando International Airport to the hotel as part of their 24-hour airport shuttle service. There is a charge for the service.
