Alex and Steph met through their mutual best friend Eric Meyers in 2012 and later connected at a music festival on Randall's Island in August of 2013. Alex really made Steph smile with his epic dance moves and she was delighted when he asked for her phone number on the subway ride home. The two became quickly inseparable, bonding over their love of music, food and wandering New York City. Their courtship included exploring parks, restaurants and art galleries around the city as well as trips to Hong Kong, Spain, Peru and Colorado (to name a few of their favorites). You can bet they also danced themselves silly at tons more music festivals with their crew. Although Alex and Steph are natural busybodies, they also cherished nights cooking dinner together and lounging on the couch - often with Steph's roomie/BFF Emily Miles and her cat August. In April of 2019, Alex and Steph moved into their first apartment in Weehawken, NJ and they adopted their rescue pup Luna a year later. Alex proposed to Steph in August of 2020 on Long Beach Island by playing one of their favorite songs "The Best" on guitar surrounded by their closest friends. With the uncertainty of the pandemic, the two decided to get married in Holmdel Park on October 18, 2020 surrounded by their immediate families and Luna (of course)! And now... they can't wait to celebrate with you!
