Check out some of our recommendations for places to stay. We know not everyone is familiar with our tiny mountain community so we hope this little guide helps! I also have a list of Air BnB and VRBO homes close by. Please reach out if you need help with locating rentals around. Newland, Sugar Mountain, Banner Elk & Linville are all great places to search when looking for your place to stay.

House rental sites

When searching home rentals type in Newland NC and your desired dates. Where the homes have descriptions you should see mention of Linville Land Harbor. This is the name of our community and we are notorious for vacation rentals here. There are lots of great picks to choose from! This is a Motel, Cabin, RV campground. They offer ground level rooms, 2-6 person cabins, and have multiple Rv sites and camping spots. It’s located right out the front of our neighborhood. Some of the rooms are pet friendly. The cabins are not.

Asheville Airport

Asheville is a good option for those flying in. It is located 1.5 hours south of our home.
