Maid of Honor
Kyra and Steph became best friends in Mrs. Newcomb's third grade class. They were born a day apart and noticed their names by each other on the birthday board, to say they've been inseparable since is an understatement! They have done life together from dancing for the same studio and high school company, attending U of A, moving to Scottsdale and getting their first 'big girl' jobs, to now being each other's Maids of Honor! Kyra has been there for the whole saga that is Steph & AJ and has supported them every step of the way. They are both lucky to call her their best friend!
Maid of Honor
Allie and Steph met freshman year of U of A and they have Alpha Phi to thank for it! They lived together for two years in Tucson and both made the move to Scottsdale in 2016! Allie is both Steph's voice of reason and the perfect complement to her crazy. They always know exactly what the other needs to hear and support each other through it all. Plus, Allie is the only person known to rival Steph's love for candy!
Bridesmaid
Crystal is Steph's older cousin, though they were raised basically as sisters. Her love for Crystal runs deep and true and all of her favorite childhood memories involve her. Crystal has since moved to Lake Tahoe but her and Steph have remained just as close.
Bridesmaid
Ciana and Steph were introduced at U of A when she started dating her, now fiance, Thomas (groomsman). They both moved to Scottsdale after school and quickly became close. Ciana has been someone Steph can always rely on to bring the fun energy to any situation. Outside of that, Ciana inspires Steph to be the best friend she can be and always holds her accountable and she loves her for it!
Bridesmaid
Kara and Steph met freshman year at U of A during a lunch at Alpha Phi! Kara walked up to Steph and said "I heard you have a Harry Potter tattoo, can I see?" and the rest is history. Kara has always understood Steph’s need for attention and love, and delivered without complaints. She is lucky to have someone like Kara in her corner!
Bridesmaid
Morgan and Steph met through their friends in Alpha Phi! They became fast friends and lived together for two years! Steph attributes this to their mutual love of blasting music every time they get in the car and screaming / dancing along! Morgan is definitely the calming force in their friendship and Steph will always appreciate her for that!
Bridesmaid
Brit and Steph met in high school and worked together at The Ritz-Carlton. They joke that Brit is Steph's mom (not because she has a baby) but it's rooted in truth as Brit has always been there for Steph. She is who Steph can turn to and never feel any judgment. We'll look past the fact they became close over their obsession with One Direction.
Bridesmaid
Haley and Steph met in middle school and have been friends since! Haley has put up with countless of Steph's last minute adventures and though they've outgrown that part of their lives, their friendship has held up (most credit is due to Harry Styles and wine).
Bridesmaid
Tami and Steph met in middle school but became friends in their high school Spanish classes. Tami and Steph match each other's crazy and can always be found on the dance floor (or making their own when there isn't one) when they are together!

Mother of the Bride
Parents of the Groom
Best Man
There's not much to say about the bond between Chris and AJ, because nothing needs to be said. Since day one for AJ and day 1,228 for Chris, these two have enjoyed the comfort of knowing that they have a permanent, true best friend and that they will never be alone in this life.
Best Man
Nick and AJ met in 2016 when he started dating Stephanie's best friend, Kyra (Maid of Honor). They were fast friends and became roommates shortly thereafter. Since those early days, they have enjoyed an amazing friendship full of inside jokes and steadfast support for each other. The moment AJ knew Nick to be a man worth keeping around was early on, on a trip to Universal Studios. After finding a parking spot in the Jurassic Park-themed parking garage, Nick looked around and said to no-one in particular, "Wow, they really spared no expense." He truly said it exclusively for himself. At that moment, AJ looked at him and thought, "Clever girl."
Officiant
Sean and AJ have always been kindred spirits. From meeting in middle school to being college roommates, the two have both laughed at and bemoaned the absurdities of life throughout. Sean and Stephanie also met in middle school, and their friendship is incredibly strong and completely stands alone. He has truly seen this relationship blossom, combust, rekindle, and blossom again through every cycle. For that reason, AJ and Stephanie couldn't think of anyone better to officiate their union.
Groomsman
Some call him Ninja Turtle Tom. Some call him Shotgun Tom. Some even dare to call him Thanos Tomolopolis. AJ calls him an absolute legend and a one-of-a-kind friend. The two have known each other, essentially, since before being born (their moms knew each other while they were both pregnant). Thomas is AJ's go-to for any buddy system scenario, and even though he's known him his whole life and he sees him very often, AJ continuously can't wait for the next time they hang out. On top of this, he has a long-standing friendship with the bride that will never waver.
Groomsman
Garrett and AJ have known each other since about second grade, and more closely resemble two brothers than two adults in a functional, healthy friendship. The first time Garrett visited the Kattinge home at roughly 9 years old, he picked up a dead rat with his bare hand and got scolded by Rick, the father of the groom. That really set the tone for what was to come. AJ cannot imagine what his life would be like without Garrett, and he never wants to find out.
Groomsman
Christian and AJ became friends in second grade, and their friendship will endure through anything and everything. They've been through it all together: playing with Homies and G.I. Joes, playing video games all night while eating popcorn and Red Devil, driving to school every morning, brainstorming a secret society (don't ask), basically living at each other's houses for stretches of time, and now getting married and embracing adulthood. Nothing can break their bond.
Groomsman
Mario and AJ have been friends since first grade, and he's been a constant in AJ's life ever since. Mario might be the most competitive person in the world, so certain memories of playing on the Ducks (the basketball team that AJ's dad coached) and merciless bouts of "Sorry!" really shaped AJ's childhood. Mario and AJ have enjoyed countless family trips and barbecues, school projects, and laughs. It's a blessing to have such a thoughtful and inquisitive friend.
Groomsman
Jordan Shapiro might be the classiest and most amiable individual that is currently living. AJ is incredibly lucky to have the man in his life. They met in eight grade Spanish class (not to mention the Tortolita Middle School gridiron), and played on the basketball team together until they graduated. They continue to delude themselves into thinking they are still good at basketball in their men's league twice a week. More importantly, AJ values Jordan's commitment to being a good person, a faithful friend, and enjoying the simple pleasures in life.
Groomsman
Austin and AJ grew up as neighbors and played sports together for as long as they can remember. Their friendship never ceased and it never will. AJ, along with just about everybody that Austin meets, especially enjoys Austin's unique authenticity. The things that fly out of the man's mouth have inspired AJ to create a concept called "Austin's Quote of the Day." He will say whatever is on his mind, and what is on his mind is completely different than what is on most people's minds. He also happens to be a phenomenal friend and a joy to hang out with, no matter the context.
Groomsman
Cory and AJ appreciate and understand each other deeply. Cory is AJ's brother Chris' best friend, and after getting to know each other around the year 2010, the two realized just how like-minded they are (much to the chagrin of Chris). There is nothing but love here, and the bond has likened itself to more of a brotherhood. As such, the group now refers to itself as "The Brothers Three."
