FAQs

Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know if you’ll be joining us by September 15th! You can RSVP by clicking the RSVP tab right here on our website. We kindly ask that you respond by that date so we can finalize all the details. If we haven’t heard from you by then, we’ll assume you’re unable to attend and will miss you dearly!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask all guests to wear black attire to match the vibe of the evening. Think cocktail or formal—elegant dresses for women (long or mid-length) and suit and tie for men. For men, a button-down dress shirt in a neutral color is preferred, and a sports coat is welcome if you’d like to wear one. Black jeans are okay if styled well, but dress pants are preferred. Please, no blue jeans. Also, keep in mind—it’s still hot here in Houston during the day, but it usually cools off to a comfortable temperature by the evening. Dress to impress, but stay cool!

Question

What is the weather typically like this time of year?

Answer

October in Houston is usually warm and pleasant, with highs in the 80s, lows in the 60s, and moderate humidity. Perfect for celebrating!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Plus ones are by invitation only. If your invite includes a guest, it will say so—and you’ll also see the option when you RSVP on our website. We wish we could celebrate with everyone, but we’ve had to be thoughtful with our guest list. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are my children invited?

Answer

Please be advised that this will be an adult-only event, with the exception of a few children who have been specifically invited. We hope you enjoy the wedding in a relaxed, adult atmosphere, perfect for a date night. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Question

What time should I arrive at the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you arrive 15–30 minutes early to allow time for parking and seating. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM, and we don’t want you to miss a moment!

Question

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

They’re at two separate locations! Our ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM at: All Saints Catholic Community 215 E Tenth St, Houston, TX 77008 The celebration continues at 5:00 PM at our reception: Palm Royal Villa 3330 FM 1463, Katy, TX 77494

Question

Is there a break between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be a short break between the ceremony and reception. The ceremony ends around 4:00 PM, and cocktail hour begins at 5:00 PM. Feel free to freshen up before heading over to enjoy the venue grounds!

Question

How close together are the ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

The ceremony and reception venues are about 30–40 minutes apart, depending on traffic. Please plan your travel accordingly so you can arrive at the reception on time and ready to celebrate!

Question

What time will the reception be ending?

Answer

The reception will wrap up at 11:00 PM—so be sure to dance, eat, and celebrate with us while it lasts!

Question

What is the parking situation? Is there transportation provided?

Answer

We won’t be providing transportation between venues, so please plan accordingly. At the ceremony, you’ll find parking in the church lot and along nearby streets. At the reception, valet parking will be available on-site at Palm Royal Villa for all guests.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The bar will be open from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, so come ready to raise a glass and celebrate with us!

Question

Will dinner be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes! A full dinner will be served during the reception. Come hungry—we’re excited to share a delicious meal with you as we celebrate!

Question

Will the reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We’ll be celebrating with a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the evening. Come ready to enjoy the best of both worlds!

Question

Will you be reserving a hotel block for out of town guests?

Answer

We won’t be reserving a hotel block, but we’ve listed some recommended hotels near the venue under the “Travel” tab on our website to help with your stay planning!

Question

I still have some questions. What is the best way to contact you?

Answer

Feel free to text or call us directly—we’re happy to help!
