We're doing the damn thing!

It was August of 2020. Steph was a bridesmaid for a high school friend. Trent was a groomsman for his college friend. This bride and groom had a "meet the wedding party" tanking trip. That morning Steph almost decided not to go. But something told her to go, so she got ready, and actually showed up a little late. Steph arrived and made eye contact with Trent, and let's just say their first impressions of each other were a little less than impressive. Tanking trip got started, and Trent wouldn't leave Steph alone, she was annoyed, but was still having a good time. A couple hours (and drinks) later, Steph and Trent were laughing and goofing off- not paying attention that a big branch was coming up. They both flew off the tanks, and had nice bruises to laugh about later. After the trip Steph tried ghosting Trent. But as persistent as he is, he wouldn't leave her alone. He knew what he wanted. Steph went a whole day without talking to him, and somehow felt heartbroken. They both knew there was something special about one another. And they've been absolutely inseparable ever since.
