Yes, Black-Tie optional. Tuxedos and gowns are preferred, but not required.

Yes, the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception are outdoors weather permitting.

Will I be able to walk in high heels?

Please consider that the wedding reception will take place in the hotel's gardens, so it is recommended to avoid stiletto heels. It is recommended to pack flat shoes for the wedding events and change into your heels upon arrival in order to avoid any discomfort.

What travel requirements should I be aware of?

Answer

Ensure your passport is valid within 6 months of traveling to Italy. There is no ride-sharing service in Sicily. If you need to travel outside of Taormina, contact Karen LaRosa to coordinate transportation. Taormina itself is a town easily explored on foot. If you want to travel between the beach and the hilltop town, a cable car runs every 15 minutes from the hilltop to sea level at a cost of €3 for a one-way ticket.
