We met in middle school Spanish class 14 years ago. In high school we were inseparable. We took the same classes, joined the same clubs, did community service, and ate lunch together every day. We went to rival colleges, but still got together on weekends to watch Gilmore Girls, eat Thai food, and bond over the whole college experience we shared. Now we hang out together in Portland making food, going for hikes, and chatting for hours as we always have!

When I entered 4th grade, I was very upset because my closest friend was in the other class. That was until I met Nisha. She and I became friends and have been ever since. We made it through the rest of elementary school and middle school with many sleepovers, playing video games and watching movies...our favorites being Need 4 Speed and the Beverly Hillbillies! Our friendship has continued over the years through many moves and changes to the point where we are both so busy we barely have time to see each other. But I know we will always be friends.

Best Man
Davood Alavi is one my oldest, and best friends. We have been friends for 18 years. We still have fun playing video games and hanging out every week, just like we did in third grade.

Matthew and I met at Oregon State. We lived together throughout the entirety of our time at college. We would watch movies and get late night food, a tradition that we still observe today.
