Are you having a Ceremony & Reception?

Answer

After talking about what felt right for us, we decided on a private elopement in the Redwoods with just a few family members in Trinidad, CA. We truly wish we could have everyone there with us. We are planning to host a Reception in Aurora, Colorado, for the Groom's side of the family and friends. Then in 2026, hosting a casual elopement celebration in San Diego, California. View the 'Schedule' tab for all details and information for events we are hosting.

Why did we decide to Elope?

Answer

We chose to elope because it felt like the most authentic reflection of our love. For both of us, starting our marriage in an intimate setting—just us two and a few family members—allowed us to be fully present and soak in the beauty of the moment. We wanted to keep things simple, meaningful, and free of the stress that can come with a big wedding. It also made the most sense for us financially. While we truly wish everyone could have been there, that’s why we’re planning several celebrations. So we can still share the joy and create unforgettable memories with all the people we love.

When and Where are we eloping?

Answer

We’re planning a civil ceremony at the courthouse in Flagstaff, Arizona on September 8th, 2025 with just a few close friends. This is mainly for legal reasons, as it’s much simpler to handle the paperwork here in Arizona where we live, rather than going through California where our private family ceremony will be held. We’re having our private family ceremony in Trinidad, California on October 18th—our six-year anniversary. We chose this location because it's near Redwood National Park, where we originally wanted to hold the ceremony. Attending the ceremony will be Stephanie’s mom, dad, and sister; Tommy’s mom, dad, and brother John, who will be officiating; and Tommy’s brother-in-law Erik, who will capture the day as our photographer.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Yes, we do! Thank you so much for thinking of us! It truly means a lot. If you head to the top of the website, you’ll see a few different sections listed. Just click on the one that says 'Registry' (right next to the 'Gallery' section), and it’ll take you there. This is our only registry, so everything you need to find is on that page.

Where should I mail a gift to?

Answer

Can we send you well wishes or notes?

Answer

As mentioned above, well wishes, gifts, and cards can be sent to the listed address. You’re also welcome to call or text us. Just please keep in mind if it’s on or around our ceremony date, we may be a bit busy, but we’ll get back to you as soon as we can! We will also be traveling away from home, so please keep that in mind for mailing purposes!!
