Moderate hike that can be very muddy. Beautiful location for pictures and the initial trail head feels very similar to Jurassic Park! If there has been recent rain, Manoa falls is particularly beautiful. Obey all signs on trail and do not hike down directly to the falls due to risk of falling rock. Bring cash for parking. Pro tip: bring bug spray or wear long pants.
Experienced hikers only. The full trail (including Mt. Olympus trail) takes around 6 hours with periods of climbing using rope and the help of a hiking partner. Hiking boots and pants are a must. Breathtaking views well worth the effort. For those who want a shorter hike there are still good views to be had. Go as far as you wish before turning around. Do not hike this alone, and do not go if it has rained recently.
