Santa Barbara Airport

The closest airport is the Santa Barbara Municipal Airport (SBA). Alternatively, Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is approximately a 1.5 hour drive from downtown Santa Barbara and there are plenty of rental car options. Santa Barbara Airbus runs a direct shuttle from LAX to downtown Santa Barbara and Goleta roughly every 2 hours for those not wanting to brave LA traffic.

Best Western Plus Santa Barbara

The hotel the newlyweds will stay at! This hotel is a 5 minute drive to the venue. We don't have a block, but still encourage you to book early if you decide to stay here! There are 2 other Best Westerns in the area, the Pepper Tree Inn and in Carpenteria. Carpenteria is likely the less expensive option, but is around 15 minutes to the venue WITHOUT traffic.

House Or Rental

Airbnb or VRBO

If you are not a fan of hotels, Airbnb or VRBO are great options. There are tons of listings in the area. If you choose this option, you can look anywhere from Goleta to Carpinteria.

Travel Note

FYI

Santa Barbara is an incredible beach town and given that, hotels tend to be expensive and book up early. If you are interested in being "in-the-action," the hotels around Stearns Wharf or East Beach are where you want to stay. If you are looking for something a little quieter and/or cheaper there are a number of good options in Carpinteria and Goleta.
