Many of you have heard the story, but if you haven't then here it is! It was a Husker game day early in September of 2013 and my friend Karli asked me if I wanted to check out Misty's bar for some pre-game drinks. Karli explained that she knew one of the bartenders (Taylor S) from working with him at the Country Club during the summer. When we arrived, I was introduced to Taylor and then made a private comment to Karli about how I thought the other bartender was cute. Karli piped up and said "Oh that's Scott!" She had met him through Taylor during the after work Country Club parties when he tagged along. Karli, now knowing that I thought Scott was attractive, decided to share this information with Taylor when he came buy to check on our drinks. I could barley watch as Taylor headed over and chatted with Scott. We left the bar and headed to the stadium. The day ended with a Husker win and I couldn't help but wonder if the cute bartender had similar thoughts about me. A little less than a week later, I got a facebook message from Scott. We chatted for a bit and decided to set up a date right before his 25th birthday. Since then, we haven't spent a birthday apart and are looking forward to a lifetime of marriage!
