Places to Stay in Magical, Mystical Martindale
Really, this is a destination wedding. Our family wants to share the magic of our sweet little river town with y'all--so if you are coming for the weekend, we would love for you to stay in Martindale! Most of the local airbnbs/vrbos are larger, so consider teaming up with friends and relatives to share a house or loft. TONS of places are on the beautiful San Marcos river, and nothing in Martindale is too far away from the wedding action.
If Martindale lodging doesn't meet your needs, consider Lockhart (12 min away), Staples (5 min away), or San Marcos (15 min away).
Closest airport is Austin Bergstrom International–about 35-40 minute drive. You can get an uber or lyft to Martindale, and most of the wedding activities are within walking distance! San Marcos is about a 12-min drive, and Lockhart is 15. Note: some Martindale Airbnbs might be 1-2 miles from the wedding venue (Duett's). Reach out if you want guidance!
