Places to Stay in Magical, Mystical Martindale
Really, this is a destination wedding. Our family wants to share the magic of our sweet little river town with y'all--so if you are coming for the weekend, we would love for you to stay in Martindale! Most of the local airbnbs/vrbos are larger, so consider teaming up with friends and relatives to share a house or loft. TONS of places are on the beautiful San Marcos river, and nothing in Martindale is too far away from the wedding action.
We have a couple houses and the 1 & 2BR Western Lofts blocked out for out of town friends and family, so message Steph or Ryan to get the skinny!
Closest airport is Austin Bergstrom International–about 35-40 minute drive. You can get an uber or lyft to Martindale, and most of the wedding activities are within walking distance! San Marcos is about a 12-min drive, and Lockhart is 15. Note: some Martindale Airbnbs might be 1-2 miles from the wedding venue (Duett's). Reach out if you want guidance!

These beautiful lofts are directly above the reception venue on Main Street in Martindale–a 5 minute walk from our house and a right by the river. We have all of them blocked out for the weekend, so message Steph to reserve.

Melrose River Club offers a more hotel-like experience with a pool, independent casitas, and river access. Note: it is not in Martindale proper, so you'll need to drive 8 minutes toward San Marcos. Rideshares are not super reliable originating in Martindale--probably best to have a car if you stay here!
