Ali Ogston
Maid of Honor
Ali "Danger" Ogston is Steph's oldest and most loyal friend. The two of them grew up joined at the hip living just a few doors down from one another in Oakville. Ali always pushed Steph out of her comfort zone to take risks and explore life. Her joie de vivre makes her one of the most wonderful people to know and love. Over the years, "yolo" and "charge it to the game" became frequently used vocabulary, leading to lots of fun and unforgettable memories. They'll be celebrating their 20th Friend-iversary this year!
Isabela Dos Santos
Bridesmaid
Steph and Isabela met as staff at Ontario Pioneer Camp and spent the whole summer running, laughing and sneaking off camp property for midnight McDonald's runs together. They've since shared adventures in Switzerland, London and Ottawa. Isabela is currently doing her PhD in Political Theory at University of Toronto. When she's not reading or writing papers, she loves cooking, dancing and caring for her friends and family! #tmth for life.
Jessica MacDonald

Jessica is Steph's cousin/twin. The two of them love sharing book titles, podcasts, recipes and #ootds across countries over WhatsApp pretty much every day. Jess lives in Cary, North Carolina with her husband, Justin. Steph and Patrick have taken a couple trips down to visit them and can't wait to explore other parts of the world with them! When not working at the local University, Jess loves to travel and nurture relationships with family and friends. She's so wonderful!
Jasmine MacDonald

Jasmine is also Steph's cousin and close friend. Jasmine is a recruiter by day and stand-up comedian by night. But she's actually hilarious at all times. Known by her friends and family as Jazz, Jazzy, J-dawg, Jas-a-mee and more, Jasmine is always the life of the party. But that's not all! She's also deeply compassionate and heartfelt, always willing to lend a listening ear and cheer you up when the going gets rough. I love my Jazzy!
Katie Talbot

Katie is Steph's cousin who also doubles as a role model and sister-figure. Steph and Kate spent some time together at Western University in 2012, getting lunches on campus, dancing downtown and buying out Bulk Barn's chocolate section to make hundreds of Christmas treats. Katie is a marathon runner and businesswoman extraordinaire. She currently lives in Mississauga with her husband, Mark, and 1 year old baby model, Jack! Steph and Patrick can't wait to spend "hygge" evenings with them this coming winter!
Tessa Ruta

Tessa embodies beauty and grace! She's also hilarious. Tess is one of Steph's cousins and friends for life. She is an opera singer, music teacher and mother of two beautiful twin girls, Maggie and Ella. Tess and her husband, David, live Downtown Toronto and love exploring markets and parks as a family. Steph and Tess grew up together in Oakville, sharing lots of memories throughout awkward pre-teen years making home videos and watching American Idol together #ClayAiken. Tessa is a ton of fun!

Steph and Steph worked together at Ontario Pioneer Camp for many summers and were often confused for one another because their respective camp names were "Flora" and "Fauna". They shared lots of deep chats, laughs and stinky cabins together over those endlessly hilarious and exhausting summers... Steph now works at Hillsong Church in Cape Town, South Africa. She's so goofy and loving. She's traversing half the world to get to this wedding so let's show her a fun time!

The man, the myth, the legend. Brett and I met at a church in Buffalo over 10 years ago and have been best friends ever since. Far too many stories to even begin to tell! Husband to Anjelica and father to two beautiful girls!

Josh and I met in seminary, quickly became close buddies, and now I count him as one of my closest friends. Brad, Josh, and I like to think of ourselves as the Three Amigos! #seminarylife. Random fact about Josh: He's trained on the classical guitar! Josh and Leanna are enjoying their first year of marriage!
Brad O'Dell

Goes by Brad, Bradison, Bradly, or Hot Legs. Brad and I met in seminary. We became buddies on the intramural sports fields, but our friendship was solidified in the shipyards (summer jobs)! Roommates, buddies, wanna be pipe and scotch connoisseurs; Brad, Josh, and I have spent countless hours talking (and arguing) all things theology and Bible. #seminarylife. Brad and Katie are enjoying their first few months of marriage!

Chris and I have known one another for 30 years! He's my childhood best buddy and if you want stories, he's got them. From building forts and playing street hockey and stickball to "roof hoping" and backyard wrestling! We have 30 years worth of incredible memories together and he's one of the best guys I know. Chris and Alyssa are also enjoying their first year of marriage! Love you both!

Nick is Stephanie's older brother and my soon to be brother-in-law. I couldn't be more excited to call him family! We've enjoyed lots of great chats and good scotches together over the past year and a half (we may have even started our own scotch club!). Louis Shakkour

Louis and I met during our last year of undergrad. He moved in with me and I would always joke about him moving to Buffalo (which we thought was crazy because he's from Jerusalem). We both went our separate ways after graduation until I got a call that he had just taken a job in the Buffalo area. CRAZY! We moved in with one another again and Louis was one of the first guys I connected with when I first came to the know the Lord. He's been there through a lot of life's ups and downs and has been someone I could always go to for a little bit of wisdom.
Micah Golba

Micah - also known as MG'z, the Mayor, Chef Golba, or simply, Golba. Micah dated and ended up marrying one of my childhood family friends, Alexis. Though we all went to the same undergrad together, we didn't become tight until just after graduation when we all moved back to Buffalo. We all served in a church youth group together and spent lots of our spare time "crushing" pizza and wings and playing Fifa. Micah and Alexis have been married for a few years now, have one biological child and are in the middle of adopting two more kiddos. He's got one of the biggest hearts out there!
