Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! We'll have a short ceremony outdoors in front of the Lodge, and then we'll move inside after for the reception. The Lodge will have air conditioning and we will provide plenty of water on the premises.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Yes, and we appreciate your kind gift. You can find our registry under the Registry tab at the top of the page. Gifts are not mandatory, but we appreciate it!

What do I need to know about the outdoor ceremony?

Answer

It'll be about 30 min outdoors in the garden facing a beautiful lake. Please wear appropriate shoes. Drink lots of water the night before the ceremony. Stay hydrated during the day. We'll provide water bottles.

Can I use my phone to take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will have our wonderful professional photographers take pictures for you! Please help keep our ceremony and unplugged one so you can share in this special moment with us.

Does your venue allow smoking?

Answer

No, smoking is 100% prohibited on this venue. The Lodge staff has asked us not to have any open flames on the premise.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving by 3:30pm. Our ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm. You can find a seat and sign our guest book!

ARE THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION LOCATION WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

Answer

Yes! Both the Lodge and the garden space are wheelchair accessible. If assistance is needed, please let us know ahead of time.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER THE CEREMONY?

Answer

During cocktail hour (the hour between ceremony and reception), the bridal party will be taking photos nearby. Guests can head straight into the air-conditioned Lodge where we will be serving drinks and ice cream (from a very cute ice cream cart!). The Lodge will also have a special table for cards and gifts as well as our personal "museum" display full of handmade gifts to each other from our early years together! The photo booth will also be open at this time for everyone to enjoy.

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?

Please check in with us first through email so that we can check our headcount. Though there will be some plus ones in attendance (mainly a few spouses or long-term SOs), space is limited at our wedding and we hope that you understand!
