Steph and Matt had both been on Bumble to try online dating since neither of them frequented bars and had no idea how they'd meet someone in a post-Covid world. She decided to give Matt a chance despite a few blurry photos and very few details on his profile. Her opening line was simple and organic & Matt took the bait. They quickly hit it off, and decided to meet at Frontera Grill in Chicopee (which they would frequent quite often throughout their relationship). Matt and Steph were wrapping up the end of their summer vacation when Matt asked if she would join him for a ride to a surprise destination.
