Things To Do

We're excited to share our city with you! Explore some of our favorite spots below, and click the "View" button to see them on a map.
Santa Monica

Santa Monica

SEE & DO: Walk along Montana Ave. (our neighborhood) to enjoy boutiques and cafes. Main Street (closer to Venice) is also fun to walk or bike. Along Ocean Ave. and within Palisades Park, you'll enjoy great views of the ocean, Malibu, the South Bay and even Catalina Island if it is a clear day! Rent bikes and take a trip along the beach path; or drive 15 minutes north up the Pacific Coast Highway to Temescal Canyon, a great three-mile hike with ocean views. EAT & DRINK: Father's Office (Montana Ave. location); Tartine Bakery; Milo & Olive; Birdie G's; Primo Passo Coffee; Santa Monica Brew Works; Sidecar Donuts.

Culver City

Culver City

SEE & DO: Walk around downtown or the Culver City Arts District. Hike up Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook for views of the city. Chocolate lovers can visit small batch Letterpress Chocolate Factory for a tour and plenty of samples; or visit The Museum of Jurassic Technology for a different type of museum experience. EAT & DRINK: Lodge Bread Company; Father's Office (Helm's Bakery location); Los Angeles Ale Works (Ivy Station location); Madre Restaurant; Stanley's Wet Goods.

Venice

Venice

SEE & DO: Walk along the Venice Canals, a picturesque neighborhood of waterfront bungalows and bridges. Browse Abbot Kinney Blvd., home to fashionable boutiques and cafes. Visit the famous Venice Boardwalk and skatepark. EAT & DRINK: Superba Food + Bread; Night + Market Sahm, Wurstküche; Gjusta; Gjelina.

Other Spots

Other Spots

SEE & DO: See the Getty Center, known for its incredible architecture and gardens, artwork and views (if you visit Santa Monica, stop by here before or after as it is located in nearby Brentwood). Kayak in Marina Del Rey. If you want a classic LA pitstop, peruse Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills and see the famous "Beverly Hills" sign. EAT & DRINK: Jame Enoteca and Slice & Pint in El Segundo; Sawtelle "Japantown" in West LA... plus so much more throughout LA, but we realize this list is getting quite long!
