In 2020, our story began in the least romantic place imaginable: work. If you ask us how our story started, the answer certainly isn't "love at first sight." In fact, our first impressions of each other were far from perfect. Fortunately, life had other plans. Over the next few years, we became friends and trusted work partners. What made our connection different was that neither of us was trying to impress the other. There were no games, no masks, and no pressure to be anything other than ourselves. We got to know each other honestly, through long workdays, challenges, successes, and countless conversations. As time passed, we continued building a foundation of trust, respect, and understanding. Then one day, after years of friendship, the timing was finally right. Steph invited Jim on a date at Pinto Bar, and what was meant to be simple drinks quickly turned into something much more meaningful. We left that evening with a new understanding of what had always made our connection so special and a shared excitement about what the future could hold. More importantly, we realized that we were genuinely good for each other. From that moment on, we have been inseparable. Today, we are partners in every sense of the word—partners in business, partners in life, and best friends through it all. We spend an incredible amount of time together, and somehow it still never feels like enough. We share a love for good food, even though between the two of us we seem to have collected every allergy imaginable. Somehow, even that has become part of our story. What might be an inconvenience for most people has become another thing we navigate together, usually with a little humor and a lot of patience. The truth is that what we love most about our relationship is how naturally we complement each other. We balance one another's strengths and weaknesses, encourage each other's dreams, and continuously inspire one another to become better versions of ourselves. Our story wasn't built on grand gestures or perfect timing. It was built on friendship first, honesty always, and the realization that sometimes the person you've been looking for has been right beside you all along.
