Cocktail attire or semi-formal attire are both great! Since this is a mid-August, outdoor ceremony, it may be fairly warm. We would rather our guests be comfortable than overdressed. Guys - don't feel like you need to wear a suit-jacket. Keep in mind it might get cooler late in the evening, so definitely check the forecast before you come.
