In 2003, when JC was only 13 years old, he and Matthew made a promise to one another that will finally come to fruition. Matthew is more than JC’s best friend, he is family. The bond they share is unique and has helped shape each other into the wonderful men they have become. A few years ago, JC had the honor of being Matthew’s best man and now Matthew will fulfill the promise they made all those years ago - “Brother, whenever we get married to our future wives, let’s make sure that we are each other’s best man!”

Kristine is the bonus sister Stephanie never knew she needed. They met while they were students at the University of South Florida almost 10 years ago. The friendship sparked immediately after being sat on a plane together to a college tour guide conference. From that moment on, their friendship quickly evolved into a sisterhood. The inseparable duo became part of each other’s families and celebrated major milestones together. They traveled to Barcelona together, graduated together, lived together and come 2020, they will have both been alongside each other at their wedding altars.
Andre
Groomsman
Andre, who is lovingly called “Dre”, has known JC since 2010 after JC asked him if he would want to start a Latin jazz band together. Dre was to play the trumpet and JC the piano. The band never formed, but a friendship did. Their friendship grew quickly and not only did Dre become one of JC’s greatest friends, he became his brother. Though their personalities are completely different, they share very similar views on life. Their bond has withstood the test of time and Dre continues being an important part of JC’s life. They will be brothers for the rest of their lives.
Davina
Bridesmaid
Davina is not only Stephanie’s close cousin; she was her very first friend. Together, they learned how to swim, play barbies and go to Disney. They convinced their parents to do countless sleepovers even if that meant skipping school or sending Davina to Florida to spend summers together. Over time, Davina became more of a sister than a cousin. And then she gave the Fred Family the best gift ever – Jayden. Together they are a package deal so while Davina walks down the aisle as Stephanie’s bridesmaid, Jayden will be the ring bearer.
Erick
Groomsman
There are so many similarities between Erick and JC: they share the same birthday, they both sing opera and they are both Dominican. Ironically though, they did not like each other when they first met during their freshman year in college in 2009. That quickly changed once they realized how similar they were and the rest is history. Erick has been a brother for JC, one of his greatest confidants and one of his most loyal friends. They frequently discuss their dreams, their goals and continuously push one another to become better every single day.

Stephanie is JC’s heart. They share an unbreakable connection that is only found between a brother and a sister. Stephanie and JC did not get a chance to grow up with their biological father, but JC made sure she never felt the absence of a father figure in her life. You won’t find a more compassionate person. She is the bearer of a beautiful heart. Stephanie continues to make JC proud every single day and he looks forward to watching her grow into a remarkable woman.
Adrian
Groomsman
Adrian and Stephanie have always shared a special bond that was noticeable since his birth. He was the baby of the family, but Stephanie always saw him as a friend. That friendship would blossom in the many visits Stephanie took to New York and Adrian took to Florida. They’d have the best conversations. She would mentor him and he would listen. In return, Adrian would take her to the movies, buy her Crash Bandicoot and run home on a hot day just to get her a dollar ice cream cone (with rainbow sprinkles) before it melted. He’s always been Stephanie’s gentleman and come November 2020, he’ll be her groomsman.
