We met at the University of Miami during our undergraduate years. We didn't think much of it at the time, until one night in August of 2016, shortly after Stephanie had graduated. Fabio spotted her out at the Grove and decided it was now or never to flirt with that cute girl. We hit it off almost right away, and started spending more and more time together. We made it official Halloween night of 2016, and the rest is history!

In September of 2021, Fabio told Stephanie that the company he works for was having a get-together picnic in a park to celebrate their recent business success. She thought nothing of it, other than anxiety over what to wear when meeting his coworkers for the first time. Upon arrival to the park, she noticed that they were the only people there, and that there was a picnic setup, although it looked big enough for only two people. Confusion turned to disbelief, followed by joy, as he got down on one knee and proposed. Through tears and laughter, she said yes. We celebrated with champagne, a delicious charcuterie board, and a photoshoot in the park with a photographer he had hired that was initially masquerading as a jogger. We went to dinner at the Rusty Pelican and started planning the wedding of our dreams!
