The closest airport to Agriturismo La Mandriola (in Lajatico) is Pisa International Airport (PSA), it's about a 45-minute drive away. Florence Airport (FLR) is also nearby and would be a 1 - 1.5 hour drive.

Transportation

Renting a car from Pisa or Florence is a great option, and the venue has enough free parking to accommodate all guests. For our Canadian friends, just make sure you get your IDP to be able to rent a car in Italy. Please note that Uber is available in major cities, but not available once in the venue region (and taxis are very limited). To make things easier, if you aren't renting a car we highly recommend booking a private transfer in advance. They're reliable, on time, and can be tailored to your arrival /departure schedule. La Mandriola is the onsite accommodation location, but if it’s fully booked and you’re looking for nearby options, we suggest searching in the areas of Lajatico, Volterra, or Terricciola. These are charming towns with agriturismos and small hotels just a short drive from the venue. Things To Do

During your free time in Lajatico, there are plenty of ways to enjoy everything the region has to offer: - Teatro del Silenzio o An open air amphitheatre built by Andrea Bocelli; dramatic views, sculpture installations, great landscape (5 minute walk from venue) - E-bike ride through the hills & olive groves o La Mandriola has two e-bikes available for use (first come, first serve basis) - Enjoy the on-site swimming pool o Grab a book and relax or take a refreshing dip - Visit Orciatico (requires access to a car) o A nearby small village, with a restored historic centre, fortress tower offering views over Valdera and the Pisan hills - Visit Volterra (requires access to a car) o Medieval town; Etruscan history, ancient walls, piazzas, artisan shops, alabaster crafts etc.
