When and where is the wedding?

Our wedding will take place on 8/30/25 in The Gardens located at The Park Hyatt Aviara in Carlsbad, CA. The ceremony will start at 4PM, so please plan to arrive around 3:30pm. The reception will follow. Check out the "Schedule" tab for more information!

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks. Our Ceremony and Reception will take place outdoors on the turf at The Gardens. To ensure your comfort, we recommend wearing flat shoes or wider heels, as narrow heels (like stilettos) may sink into the turf. Heel stoppers are also a great option for added stability.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to venue capacity and planning constraints, only those listed on your invitation are invited. We appreciate your understanding!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event. We hope you can enjoy a night off and celebrate with us!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is valet parking offered at the venue. For wedding guests, the cost for day valet is $5.00 and overnight valet is $35 per car per night.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know of any dietary restrictions when you RSVP. There will be a place for you to fill this information in on the website. We'll do our best to accommodate your needs!

What is the weather like?

Answer

The weather in Carlsbad during August is usually warm and sunny. We recommend checking the forecast closer to the date and dressing accordingly.
