Where we got engaged and Steph's favorite place in Dallas! Feel free to rent kayaks, paddle boards, walk the trail, or just sit relax and enjoy the scenery/people watching.

It is Texas, so you may just have to try some of our BBQ! Pecan Lodge is the true Dallas staple that originated at the Farmers Market, but Slow Bone is the couples' favorite. Try any of their amazing sides and of course the Brisket :)
Looking for a lighter lunch or a happy hour cocktail that's not in an overcrowded bar? Hudson House is one of our go-to date spots. Its an east-coast vibe with a killer Burger and Ahi Tuna salad and of course delicious cocktails. There's another location in Addison as well and we recommend lunch over dinner to avoid the crowd/wait.
We know the Chicagoans know their pizza, but even Steph admits the Honest Bastard pizza at Cane Rosso is truly the best (TRUST US). This is always on their recommendations list for anyone new to Dallas and with their outdoor patio and this locations proximity to an ice cream parlor & brewery you really can't go wrong.
Best Tex Mex in Dallas and you have to try a meltdown ;) . This place does get busy quickly so if you’re looking to go for dinner be sure you get there early !
Depends on Brad and Steph’s mood but for the most part this is our favorite breakfast taco. The dona sauce is super spicy but delicious and a must try !
With its cool Texas themed decor and unique upscale menu, this is one of our favorite date night dinners. Also it’s in the fun Victory Park that has many other cocktail bars & dessert spots if you’re in the mood!
