How do we book our room for the resort

Answer

We recommend booking through our travel agent using our "Where's the party" page. If you book directly with the resort, please just let us know and make sure to let them know you are booking for the Records/Sharpless wedding!

Are all of our meals included at the resort?

Answer

Yes! You can eat breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks all day included in the all-inclusive price. Drinks are included as well. Yes, that means bottomless margaritas. Please just don't look wildly hungover for wedding pics! :) There are a few premium options you can upgrade to for a nominal cost on some of the menus, typically around $30 if you choose to. The rooms have a stocked mini-fridge which you can request to be restocked as many times as you want. Room service is also included! Breakfast in bed anyone?

What should I wear to the welcome party and/or wedding?

Answer

I'm so glad you asked. The welcome party is an all white party. This is your chance to steal the show in all white or mostly white! No need to get super fancy because we'll be on the beach! The wedding is coastal semi formal attire. If you google semi formal destination wedding, you'll get a ton of ideas! We will NOT be in the sand for the ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception so keep those shoes on ;) Until we get to dancing of course....then that's on you.

Should I eat on the travel day in?

Answer

Seems like a silly question but we made this mistake. Remember there is a time difference and the resort changes chefs between lunch and dinner from the hours of 5-6pm (Cabo time). The grill and the ceviche restaurant are open but for those wanting/needing more, eat a snack or big lunch before you get to the resort, so you aren't too hungry waiting for 6pm. You could always go to the coffee bar and fill up on pastries :)

Do we have to hang with you guys the whole time???

Absolutely not! We will be hosting a welcome party on the beach Wednesday evening and would love for you to join us to kick things off. Totally optional though! Other than the wedding Friday evening....this is your vacation too! Be on the lookout for details on optional gatherings like a beach workout and sunset cruise.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We have booked at a family friendly resort and will have our kids with us to be a part of our special day. We are asking that only kids 14 and up attend. While we love your families, if you choose to bring your younger kids to the resort with you, please note they will need different plans during all of the wedding festivities. Parents of littles.....just take that much needed vacation!

Can we smoke cigars on site?

Answer

There is a cigar lounge/patio on the 5th floor next to the steak house. You can also smoke on the beach! For more questions about cigars....you should probably text B because Steph is writing these out :)

Can I book a service at the Spa?

Answer

Of Course! I highly encourage you take advantage of the unique wine spa experience while you're at GFA! Each guest booking with our room block will receive a spa credit/discount to use during your stay.
