Wedding Party

Corrie Scott

Maid of Honor

Corrie and I have known each other since junior high. We stayed friends throughout high school, thanks to our Freshman "B" basketball team, and even went on to become roommates our freshman year at Tech! Even though she would always leave a good blob of toothpaste in the sink during that year (which drove me a just a little bit crazy), our friendship still only became stronger. From rocking out to "Sandman" by Metallica on Rock Band to entering marathons with our friends where we're the only two who didn't actually run it to leaving our friends in the dust to ensure we are the fastest Segue-er's every, our friendship has remained steadfast! And, as we wrote (with permanent marker) on our freshman room door frame, SN+CS=BFFAEAEAE!

Kiely Whitham

Matron of Honor

Kiely and I have also known each other since junior high. However, our friendship blossomed in 8th grade as we were both members of our junior high's "C" basketball team. (For those of you who don't know, "C" is not the team you want to be on). Freshman year of high school we made it on the "B" team together, where our bond continued. From Kiely showing up with bright orange hair to practice, to putting ranch on a very dry chocolate cake to make it "better" in front of my grandparents (which absolutely disgusted them), to wearing her numerous "got blood" t-shirts, it was always a good time! We also roomed together at Tech and went through nursing school together, which is definitely a whole new kind of bonding! Almost 20 years later, she is still one of the most important girls in my life!

Kim Green

Bridesmaid

Kim and I were on the "B" team together freshman year of high school. (Sensing a pattern yet?). We've stayed friends ever since. Kim also attending Tech for a year, which helped us become closer. She is one of the most caring people I know. I remember Kim breaking her nose in high school from diving and she was such a good sport because she had to wear a cast over her nose but she let us all sign it! (Well-what there was of it, anyways. Haha). Ever since I've known Kim, she's always been such a breath of fresh air in any type of situation. She always finds the good in every situation (like letting her friends sign her nose cast). I can't wait to have Kim share this special day with us!

Taylor Wilson

Bridesmaid

Taylor and I have known each other since 8th grade. We had a home ec. class together where Taylor proved her sewing skills were far superior to mine. And it's probably still true to this day! From all our sleepovers at her house where I watched movies my mom wouldn't let me watch at home (shhh!) to us also being on the freshman B team and forming a bond due to our eternal terribleness, Taylor and I have shared a lot of fun and happy moments! She is one of the most optimistic girls I know and is always there when you need her. I'm so blessed to have Taylor to celebrate this exciting time with me!

Megan Swan

Bridesmaid

Megan is nothing but a good time all the time! She has such energy and positivity that you can't help but be in a good mood when with her! And it's never a dull moment. At our last freshman B basketball game of the season (yes-she was on it, too), Megan threw a Hail Mary pass at the buzzer from half court and MADE IT! We still lost the game, but we were all too excited to care! Megan even had an impromptu weekend to the Cape and came to hang out with my family we decided spur-of-the-moment to go parasailing! From our trips to New York to Chicago to D.C. to Charleston, I've had some of the best times with Megan and am so happy she gets to be a part of our wedding!

Anna Mann

Bridesmaid

Anna and I have only known each other a few short years, but they have been some of the best years! Anna has one of the sweetest hearts I have ever known. From our mutual love for anything Kendra Scott to girl dinners to dance parties to having the most amazing homemade charcuterie board I have ever seen at a girl's night, Anna is such a blast to be around! She is my strong and steadfast work wife. I am so happy that Anna has come into my life and gets to celebrate our wedding with us!

Andrew "Amo" Moline

Best Man

The term "Best Friend" gets thrown around a lot, so I think it lost some of its flare. I prefer Amo's term, heterosexual life mate. It's like a TV show bromance, only real. I can't list everything we've done together, but he was a large part of Steph and I getting together, so he gets a special thanks for that. Our adventures ranged from big to small. If something sounded interesting and could be set up on a reasonable budget, we tried it and learned something in the process. With millions of laughs, and the appropriate amount of tears, it's safe to say we're brothers, except we skipped that awkward phase growing up where we harassed each other. Best buds forever!

Andrew Miller

Groomsman

Andrew and I have always had a special bond. Before I could talk coherently, Andrew acted as my interpreter for the rest of the family. While we did have the occasional brotherly spat, like the time I threw a hockey stick at his face (he deserved it, because reasons), we were always there for each other growing up. While many older brothers seemed to avoid their younger siblings, Andrew always welcomed me. I ended up following him to Tech where I was again welcomed into his friend group, which helped me come out of my shell quite a bit. I'm happy to say I'm only 20% as awkward as I used to be thanks to him.

Marcus Miller

Groomsman

Growing up, Marcus and I weren't quite as close as I was with Andrew. There is a chance I held a grudge because of the time he was babysitting and we watched a werewolf movie, then he scared me to the brink of death. Luckily, I got over it eventually and we've made up for lost time since then. I'm glad we're closer now, not only is he a great person to have a beer with or go see a movie with, but Marcus is always willing to have a deeper discussion and act as a voice of reason when I need to think something through. He really is a fantastic brother.

Nathan Jennings

Groomsman

Nobody could ask for a better brother-in-law than Nathan. I guess that isn't surprising to anyone who knows Megan, she has never settled for anything once in her life. Nathan and I always got along, but I think we really bonded over rock climbing. We'd usually meet up at least once a week and always had fun while pushing each other to just be a little better or try and solve a problem that seemed slightly out of reach. Nathan takes that attitude everywhere as far as I can tell, he always finds the right balance between being relaxed and driven.

Brody Jennings

Groomsman

I'm glad I've gotten to watch Brody grow (quite quickly, turns out) and become the person he is today. He somehow got the best qualities from both Megan and Nathan, which just seems kind of unfair as far as genetic lotteries are concerned. Is it weird to be jealous of your nephew? Regardless of him being more talented than I'll ever be, I love hanging out with Brody. Either watching him rock out at a concert or just playing video games, it's always a blast spending time with him and I'm thankful he is part of my family.

Joel Gomez

Usher

Joel is Stephanie's nephew. While he may be too cool for her now, he is still one of the sweetest kids. He loves music and football and is one of the best older brother's around! So glad we get to have Joel as part of our wedding!

Araceli Nix

Flower Girl

Araceli is Stephanie's niece. This little girl can't help but bring a smile to your face! She is one of the cutest kids out there! She's been a flower girl and loved it and has said she can't wait to be one again! Araceli will definitely be the life of the party!

Olivia Nix

Flower Girl

Olivia is young now but at the wedding....yeah, she'll still be young. Yet still old enough to help her sister, Araceli, out as a flower girl! Olivia has one of the most contagious smiles and her laugh is infectious. She and her sister will be quite the pair during the wedding!
