She said yes!

On September 6, 2019 Stephan had just returned from an epic summer trip traveling to Australia and Southeast Asia. Jamie had just returned from an incredible summer trip traveling to Paris, Spain, and Morocco. He met Jamie that night at Doghouse Pub in St Thomas at the bar. They started chatting and after a few minutes realized they both love to travel and their bond immediately began. It was that night that Stephan asked Jamie out on their first date. The next day, he picked her up in his dinghy and had a romantic evening on the water watching the sun set. They had dinner at Bella Blu and went dancing at the jungle bar. Jamie, not wanting the night to end, then remembered her coworker was throwing a “cat christening” for a kitten she had just got. Awkwardly, she asked Stephan if he wanted to go to this strange party. Being the outgoing and up for anything guy that he is, he happily attended with Jamie and they have been inseparable since! They fell in love a few months later on a trip to Puerto Rico- Stephan told her as they drank wine out of bowls because their airbnb didn’t have cups. Their love grew stronger during quarantine. Stephan moved off his boat and into Jamie’s apartment. They realized then that being together was their favorite place to be and that they wanted to do it forever. Stephan proposed to Jamie on March 13, 2021 while hiking on St John. The rest is history and they are looking forward to spending their lives together.
