What are the major airports and how far are they away from the venue (Walnut Shade, MO)?

The major airports located around the area are The Springfield-Branson National Airport is about a 45 minute drive away from Walnut Shade, MO. The Joplin Regional Airport is about 1 hr and 45 minutes away from Walnut Shade, but might have cheaper flights. The Bentonville Municipal Airport is located in Arkansas, but is about the same distance away from the venue as the Joplin Airport, and could also potentially have cheaper flights in and out.

Which town should I stay in and what are the best options for hotels/accomodations?

Walnut Shade, MO is located right in between Springfield, MO and Branson, MO. Where you stay could depend on which airport you fly into, BUT for a shorter drive after the festivities of the wedding on Saturday night, I would recommend either a hotel or a condo vacation rental located in or just around Branson. Branson, MO is a tourist town and has TONS of vacation rental homes, condos, etc.. If you would prefer a hotel room instead, the Grand Plaza Hotel and the Baymont by Wyndham in Branson, MO offer nice rooms at a decent price, all within 15-25 minutes of the venue.

Think Casual Dressy; black slacks, khakis, polos, button down shirts, cocktail & maxi dresses. Just please no flip flops, shorts, or baseball hats.
