Anthony and I first met at Maxwell's Tavern in Hoboken, New Jersey, in 2012. My dear friend Ashley brought me to see his band. We chatted for a minute. I told him he looked like the lead singer from Mumford and Sons. He said I was crazy. Fast forward one year. We had our first (double) date in June of 2013. Ashley and Anthony's best friend Joe had a feeling we would make a good couple..and they were right. [Sidenote: Ashley and Joe married in 2017!] Anthony and Joe cooked us a delicious dinner and afterward, they played guitar and sang (Phish and Dave, of course.) He twirled me around the living room and we've been dancing together ever since. On a funny, related note: Anthony and I both attended the University of Delware, at the exact same time. When we ventured back to UD for our five year reunion, we drove past our old houses on campus. That's when we realized we lived just a few houses away from each other, but had never met. Sometimes the perfect person is right under your nose.
