When Steph and Sam first met in 2018 little did they know they had crossed paths multiple times in their past. Back in the years of 2008-2010 Steph and Sam roamed the same halls of Stevenson High School. While they never met face-to-face, they both played varsity sports on the same court. It was discovered after they met that Steph had cheered at the majority of Sam's basketball games and their teammates were mutual friends. With everything they had in common in high school, they found it hard to believe it took ten years for their first words to be exchanged. Once the conversations got rolling, it was only a matter of time until all of their other commonalities were unveiled. Their love for fitness, watching sports, and country music were a few of the things that made them click instantly. As their relationship progressed, they became best friends and each other's number one fan. Fast forward to 2020, the year that got destroyed by an extremely contagious virus, Steph and Sam did not let the pandemic put a pause on their growing futures. Steph accepted a new job with Foot Locker and Sam was promoted to Lead Clinician at Family Recovery Centers. While their careers were progressing individually, their life together was also growing stronger. Sam bought a ring and proposed to Steph in the middle of their West Loop apartment kitchen! A few months later, they purchased their first home in Lincoln Park. Now they are excited to share and celebrate their love with their closest friends and family during their favorite month of the year. 10.2.2021 cannot come soon enough!
