You will be using Colombian pecos during your time in Cartagena. Visit a local bank or currency exchange. US credit cards can also be used in Cartagena.

We encourage you to use the Uber app. There are local taxis that can be used, but we noticed the cleanliness of them are hit or miss.

What if I don't speak Spanish?

No worries! Jon and I relied heavily on the Google Translate app. You can type in the word that you're searching for, speak into the app, or even use the camera feature to translate Spanish signs into English!
