Q & A

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 26th, 2026!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal to formal (long dresses for the women, and suits for the men). We ask that you be mindful of modesty since we will be having the wedding in a sacred space. Our palette is dark fall colors (think burgundy, terracotta, olive green, espresso brown, and charcoal gray), and we would love for our guests to dress accordingly, but it is certainly not required.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited seating at our venue, only guests listed with a plus one on their RSVP may bring one. We kindly ask that no additional guests attend the reception. However, all are more than welcome to join us in celebrating our marriage at the wedding mass!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

The church is located in downtown Ann Arbor. There is a large parking lot available near the church that is difficult to find. Please see the link for a map of the parking lot and surrounding area: file:///C:/Users/stell/Downloads/Parking%20-%20Main%20and%20Campus%20Map%20-%20Google%20Earth.pdf Since there will be a Michigan home game on the date of our wedding (time is currently TBA), we ask that guests leave early for the wedding to ensure timely arrival at the church due to anticipated traffic and parking shortage downtown. We will update you on the timing of the game as it is announced. Our reception venue includes an on-site parking lot and handicap accessible parking spaces.

Question

What will the ceremony be like?

Answer

We will be having a Catholic Mass of the Roman Rite. It will be in the Novus Ordo form with the ordinary of the Mass celebrated in Latin. Pamphlets will be provided with the order of the Mass and Latin to English translations. Since it is a Catholic ceremony, we kindly ask that you dress modestly and respect the sacred space by being reverent and refraining from taking photos during the mass.
