Where and what hotel should I stay at?

Answer

We strongly suggest for you to book at the hotels we have room blocks at (coming soon) because they will all be near the wedding venue. The airport is over an hour away from Hood River and we want you all to be closer to all the festivities. There are also many vacation rentals in Hood River if you prefer a more private stay.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Typically weather in August in Portland Oregon is warm, sunny, and dry with average high temps in the mid-80s. The nearby Mount Hood area is also warm and sunny, but temperatures vary by elevation. Higher the elevation, the cooler the temperature. Average temperature in Mount Hood is highs 79 and lows 50s.

What all should I pack to prepare for my trip to Mt. Hood Oregon?

Answer

Pack light summer clothing for the day time. Since temperatures drop in the evenings and at higher elevations, we recommend to dress in layers and bring a light jacket or fleece for comfort. We also advise sun protection during the day due to the abundant sunshine.

The dress code is formal garden party attire.

When should I RSVP? and should I RSVP even if I am not planning on attending?
