Black tie, please. No jeans, hats, or non-collared shirts. Men: A tuxedo in a dark color with either vest, or cummerbund, or suspenders, and appropriate bow tie or tie. A well-cut black suit and black tie will also do! Women: A full-length gown, mid-length, cocktail, or tiered skirt length are also appropriate if the material, cut, or embellishment is highly formal.
We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off!
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the beginning of the wedding ceremony.
The ceremony is indoors. The cocktail hour will be outdoors on the golf course lawn if weather permits. The reception will be outdoors but under a tent.
The church has a large parking lot in the back of the building, there is no charge to park there. The reception venue also has two lots for parking, one right at the entrance on the side and another directly across the street. There will be no charge for the parking. The lot directly across the street from the venue should be used by our guests who may have any difficulty walking or who need a ride to the cocktail hour location. There will be a golf cart shuttle available for these guests, but we need to know ahead of time if you will need this accomodation so we can coordinate with our venue.
We do not mind if you take photos during the ceremony, but please refrain from using flash and remain out of the frame of our photographers and videographer. We do not want any phones in our pictures that are sticking out of the center aisle.
Cocktail hour starts at 6pm at Tedesco Country Club.
Cocktail hour will include an open bar. The rest of the reception will have a cash bar.
Yes! We'd love to see moments that our photographers may not be able to capture and some candids. We only ask that you upload them to instagram under the hashtag #stelladerek2022 or send them to us directly so we can also enjoy these pictures!
Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.
There are no requirements or restrictions regarding Covid-19 at this time. We will keep everyone updated if there are any changes based on local/state health policies. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask in the presence of a large crowd, please do. If you are feeling unwell with covid-19 like symptoms on the day of the wedding, please let someone in the wedding party know, and remain home. We have family and friends who are elderly and/or immunocompromised so we do not want to expose them to any illnesses.
