Stella & Colin first met at The College of New Jersey in 2010. Unlike Stella, Colin was very bad with names & faces so he resorted to calling her “West Windsor”, since he remembered that she lived near his hometown. Stella said he looked like Demitri Martin. It was true love. Later that year, Colin would take her to an event held in the back of U-Haul trucks in the streets of Long Island City. It was while crashing on his brother's couch after the event that he would finally build up the courage to ask her to be his girlfriend. She said yes. A few months later, they would break up. Despite breaking up, the two remained close friends for the rest of college. After graduating, Colin moved to Brooklyn to fulfill his destiny of making memes for TV Land. At the thought of never seeing Stella again, he chose this highly inconvenient time to once again ask Stella to be his girlfriend. After being denied several times, she eventually said yes. Even with Stella starting work in New Jersey, they would continue to visit each other on weekends for the next several years, keeping each other company during the long weeks apart with several thousand Facebook messenger stickers. In 2018, Stella was offered a transfer to work in the greatest city in the New York tri-state area, Newark, New Jersey. By accepting this offer, the distance between the two grew shorter and their love grew even stronger. The next year, while battling extreme diarrhea from a questionable restaurant in rural Mexico, Colin would finally ask Stella to marry him. After helping him make a makeshift diaper in the hotel room on the night of their engagement, he knew with certainty that he had made the right decision. Nine years after the week that they first met, the two would marry in the same campus gazebo where they shared their first kiss together. On the eleventh anniversary of this special week, they would finally be joined by their friends & family to celebrate their wedding together, as soulmates.
