Shuttle

Shuttle will be transporting people to and from Licks observatory every hour. Pausing only shortly during the dinner service. Pickup and drop off address is at Best Western Lanai Garden Inn & Suites. 1575 Tully Road, San Jose, California 95122 United States. Please plan to arrive using the shuttle to the event as parking is VERY limited and you will be sent back down the hill. It's a long one way trip. If you want to make it to the ceremony on time be sure to catch any shuttle up to 6:45pm. Be mindful there is only 26 seats per bus. Plan accordingly. Times the bus will leave the hotel parking lot to go to the observatory. 4:45pm 5:45pm 6:45pm 7:45pm 9:30pm 11:00pm Times the bus will be leaving from observatory to the hotel. 4:45pm 5:45pm 6:45pm 7:45pm 8:45pm 9:45pm 10:30pm 12:00am
Hotel
This is where the shuttle bus service will be picking up and dropping off. You are welcome to park in their parking lot during the course of the event. We recommend staying here to make your life easy or if anyone plans on having drinks at the event.
