The best airport to fly into for those out of state would be the Nashville airport (BNA). From the Grand Ol Opry, to Broadway, you'll definitely find something to do out here. Nashville is about an hour away from Hopkinsville.
About 1.5 hrs from Hopkinsville is Mammoth Cave, the largest known cave system IN THE WORLD! There are multiple hiking paths and you can also take tours in the cave! We recommend planning ahead to book one of the cooler tours that goes deeper in the cave system. We went on a whim and did the basic tour but it was still an awesome experience!
