Yes! We will be tying the knot in the historic Great Room of the lodge, and then commencing the festivities afterwards in another wing of the lodge.
Pere Marquette State Park is just north of Grafton, on the Great River Road. It's a beautiful and scenic drive, especially in the autumn. Rideshare services may not be available, so we recommend designating a sober driver or staying the night at the lodge.
For our friends and family who are not already aware, neither Tom nor Jamie drink. We will both be sober at our wedding, but will still be having the time of our lives. However, we will have a bar. All we ask is that no one drives after drinking. Please designate a sober driver or plan to stay overnight.
If a child is named on the invitation, they are invited. This should include all children in both families, as we want our nieces, nephews, and cousins to be a part of the day's celebrations.
The dress code is cocktail attire. Suits and cocktail dresses fall into this category. We are leaning on the more casual side of cocktail attire. Ultimately, we would love for our guests to take the occasion to dress up, but not sacrifice comfort.
If we have indicated a plus one on your invitation, yes. For our close friends: if we didn't give you a plus one, but you would like to bring someone special, shoot us a text!
The buffet style dinner will include herb roasted chicken and cheese tortellini with a garden vegetable bake, as well as an assortment of sides. If you have a specific dietary concern, please let us know!
Yes! It's accessible under the "Registry" tab on this site. We are registered at Target and on Amazon as well, but everything is listed together here on the site. Please know that we have no expectations when it comes to gifts. The last thing we want is for anyone to sacrifice their financial wellbeing or overextend themselves in order to get us a gift. Your presence and happiness is more than enough. And if you truly cannot show up empty handed, bring Jamie a cool rock (we're not kidding, she very much loves cool rocks).
