Cruise along the Intracoastal, enjoy the views, and if you're feeling adventurous, transfer to the Fort Lauderdale line to keep exploring with stops for shopping, dining and sightseeing all along the way.

Fisher Family Pier is one of Pompano's most scenic spots, stretching out over crystal blue water with stunning views of the Atlantic. It's a favorite for fishing, whether you're an experienced angler like Greg or you just want to try your luck off the pier while watching the waves roll in. The surrounding beachfront area is packed with restaurants, cafes, and shops, making it easy to spend an entire afternoon by the ocean. For tropical cocktails and tiki bar vibes, we love Lucky Fish Beach Bar + Grill, and for our dive bar enthusiasts, The Briny Irish Pub is a must-visit local favorite with great bar food and live music.

Just north of Fort Lauderdale, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea is a quaint, walkable beach town known for its colorful shops, oceanfront dining, and relaxed coastal vibe. For the adventurer, there’s great snorkeling right off the beach, but if relaxing is more your vibe, it’s also the perfect spot for beach bums. Even Keel Fish Shack is one of our favorite local spots for fresh seafood, and Vinnie's is a great choice if you’re craving wood-fired pizza or a raw bar.
